Highly experienced energy and sustainability advisor. I am passionate about sustainability, conservation and protecting the rule of law. I have dedicated much of my career to advancing the energy transition and transforming organisational culture to embrace sustainability and corporate responsibility.I am also a FGASA qualified field guide and an award winning wildlife photographer. I lead private guided and small group photography safaris to East and Southern Africa.Prior to my current role, I worked for thirty years as a lawyer, advising government, regulators, financial institutions, corporates and NGO’s on strategic, policy, regulatory, project and transactional matters in the energy and environment sectors in Ireland and internationally. In 2021, I was named as Energy Lawyer of the Year (globally) by Who's Who Legal.I combine broad industry expertise with a strong background in sectoral regulation and reform and have advised on most of the largest and most complex transactions, projects and regulatory reform processes in the Irish energy sector since liberalisation. I have a demonstrated track record assisting clients in managing risk and growing value in their business.
