Law is a customer service industry. Early on in my practice, I focused on seeing things from my clients’ point of view and quickly recognized that “one size fits all” is not the best approach to take. Every business has unique issues and problems so there is no way that the same approach is going to be the answer for every situation. My style involves learning my clients' industries, listening closely to their concerns and developing a strategy custom tailored to them. My primary objective is to make each client feel like they are my only client.I am a member with MGC's Raleigh office and a Board Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation. I have handled matters in all three Federal District Courts in North Carolina and have appeared before the North Carolina Supreme Court. My trial experience includes cases in the Civil District and Superior Courts of North Carolina, the North Carolina Court of Appeals, the North Carolina Industrial Commission, and the EEOC. Originally from Michigan, I moved to North Carolina to attend law school. My husband, John, and I live in Raleigh with our rescue animals, Josie and Jewel. Animal rescue groups are near and dear to my heart and I love to help transport animals from shelters on the weekends.
