We often enter into negotiations together with our various IT Vendors as infrastructure has been a huge focus for the company core (Implementing Cisco MPLS Unified Communications Network, Maintaining and Virtualization of Legacy IBM AIX Epicor Activant ERP in VMWARE VSphere environment and migrating it to Red-Hat Enterprise Linux (and off its legacy 10-year old Fiber Channel IBM e-Series hardware) saving the IT costs from post-warranty IT vendor, Implementing Best Practices, and dealing with all security vulnerabilities across the company.• Constantly informed and discussed all IT projects and financial requirements with Chief Financial Officer and President prior to delivery and implementation.• Had unlimited budget and was able to implement industry’s best equipment and practices in all regards to Network, ISP, Server, Desktop and Backup Power systems across all 17 Branches.• Reduced Financial Report time from ~47 Minutes to 20 Seconds after VMWare and SSD (Solid-State) server upgrades.My job closely reflected that of an IT Business Analyst and IT Manager simultaneously. I oversaw the maintenance and upgrades of company ERP system that served for 25 years via IBM Servers which I visualized into VMWare. It included a Online Product Catalog and Web Site systems all of which tie into its core (Eclipse) which has been running at Sinclair since 1993. I implemented a standard Active Directory Server and Microsoft Exchange 2013 CU2 along with Office Web Apps and Google Apps for Business however determined that a local e-mail server (Formally VMWare Zimbra) made more sense for locality and privacy reasons. I enabled split-delivery from the old company E-mail server, and there was no interruption to business.
