Tech Lead and Manager of initiative to write Docker configurations for 15 apps spanning several languages (Ruby, JavaScript, Python, Java) and frameworks (Ruby on Rails, Gunicorn, Tomcat, Node, MySQL, Redis, MongoDB). The features enabled solutions which now support over 50,000 accounts and more than $5 billion in assets under management.Inherited ownership of, and contributed features to, an internal framework for handling workflows. The framework, written in Ruby, is an asynchronous, state-based component that leverages SNS and SQS to track multi-day, inter-company processes.Acted as primary owner of, implemented improvements to, and expanded functionality of internal Salesforce (RESTforce) integration in Ruby. Improvements resulted in reduction of API requests by a factor of 10, reducing service costs, while enabling the Client Operations team to handle tens of thousands of service requests.
