I developed and currently teach a graduate course in "Cybersecurity & Healthcare Policy." I also currently teach "Cybersecurity & Resiliency in Healthcare." Both courses are requirements of the cybersecurity concentration of the Masters in Healthcare Administration graduate program. Additionally, I teach a third course in the "Management of Cyber Opportunities and Threats," which is a requirement of the MBA program. Provide draft course material and guidance on content creation as a Subject Matter Expert to staff at MIT Horizon tasked with writing cybersecurity and IoT training materials and curriculum for government agencies and Fortune 500 companies. My role within the MIT Horizon program is part-time, contract work.

I regularly speak to a wide range of audiences on topics around cybersecurity. My audiences have included developers at medical device manufacturers, the broader healthcare community at Health-ISAC, Archimedes, the Healthcare Sector Coordinating Council and HIMSS, the academic community at MIT, Salve Regina University and the Pell Honors Center, the government at FDA and DoD, the Cybersecurity community on Security Weekly, the Biohacking Village at DEFCON, various BSides and DEFCON401/617 and at private events such as the 16th Masonic District of Massachusetts.I've spoken to live audiences of 10 to 1,000 on topics that included: healthcare and cybersecurity, how to better teach cybersecurity to non-technical staff, how to effectively communicate cyber risk, insider threats in healthcare, software bill of materials and how modern and historical encryption methods have parallels in the practices of historic secret societies among other topics. Currently submitted abstract topics include death fraud, the perception verses realities of insider cyber threats across industries, and cybersecurity during the COVID-19 pandemic. My passion is speaking with non-technical individuals and crafting a unique, relevant and engaging presentation with a strong central narrative that gets the audience involved in creating a more secure culture at their organization, within their industry or in their personal lives. I advised the FDA on standing up their Digital Health Center of Excellence.Assisted the Medical Device Innovation Consortium (MDIC) in turning the Joint Security Plan (HSCC) into a medical device industry security maturity assessment from ideation to delivery of a survey and industry maturity report. During my short first tenure at Booz Allen I also led the Internet of Medical Things program as a separate business unit under Secure Connected Health which included the development and maintenance of an advanced IoMT lab where the latest medical device security tools were rigorously tested against realistic industry scenarios to discover best practices and impactful tool integrations.

I handled Cybersecurity incidents and customer security inquiries coming from the EMEA region across all product lines, coordinate security activities, assess security maturity and foster cross-country and cross-region collaboration.Additionally I assured that products and solutions developed for regional/zone/country level support follow the same rigorous Siemens product security requirements as products developed by a business line for worldwide distribution.

First MEDITECH 6.1 site in the United States to go Live● 6 week project reprogramming existing and creating new 6x rules to meet the post live clinical needs of a large hospital in the Baltimore area.● Rules were scripted to suppress, require and perform extensive calculations that include N values, age ranges, gender, specific locations, converting group responses to numeric values, recalling queries from a previous visit as a variable and triggering reflex orders based off rule calculation results.● Rules were written in NPR and M-AT code● Validation testing of new software bug patches (DTS's.)● Worked remotely using Citrix software
