Lotus Facilities Management were acquired by Aramark in 2014 and through this process I transferred over to Aramark. The role evolved as I was heavily involved in the transition of the company and merging the two companies together, as I was the only member of the back office team to move to the HQ office in Dublin. There was a learning curve as we went from a medium sized Irish company to an American multinational company. There were new processes to be learnt and the role expanded to using RGC, Realtime, Sage, Oracle, along with using CAFM. I was dealing with accounts receivables to get all Lotus FM suppliers set up on the ASL, getting payments processed smoothly, dealing with IT, health and safety, technician issues, HR, payroll, rebranding and fleet management problems. The role then evolved again to take on accounts as a contracts manager. This includes more interface with the clients, management of utilities budget, project management, vendor management, PPM and reactive management. I managed facilities in the banking, pharmaceutical and production sector.

I joined Lotus Facilities Management as a Contract Administrator in January 2012. Initially I was under the Contracts Manager for the delivery of M&E services to 5 Clients on over 250 sites throughout Ireland. These contracts were in the banking and telecommunications sectors. The role grew where I was involved in every aspect of the process from procurement, vendor management, billing, delegating the reactive work amongst the technician team. This involved dealing with all other divisions of the company including accounts, procurement, health and safety and the management team. The role then evolved as the contracts grew and I was running the helpdesk solely. In February 2014 Aramark purchased the Lotus Facilities Management business and I transferred to Aramark Workplace Solutions as part of that process who were based in Dublin.

In this job I was responsible for creditors ledger, authorising and inputting invoices, receiving and checking statements, chasing suppliers for invoices, entering journals, Posting payments, reconciling payments against invoices, posting cheques. Assisting with debtor’s ledger by inputting credit notes, printing off monthly statements and posting them. Doing a weekly profit and loss report for directors. Responsible for replenishing the stationary and outgoing post. Assisting with month end reports, management accounts and covering switch board.
