    Ormet has been developing and perfecting applications of its ink and paste products based on the Company`s liquid phase sintering technology. The uniqueness of Ormet`s products lies with their high electrical and thermal conductivity as well as their ability to withstand Pb-free reflow temperatures after low temperature curing. This makes them particularly well suited for a variety of critical applications in the electronics and photovoltaic industries. Ormet's products are composed of metallic particles and organic binders and resins. After a short curing cycle at 190-260° C, the metallic particles sinter together to form a highly conductive structure. After additional thermal exposure, this structure retains its integrity, and will not reflow even when exposed to temperatures in excess of 260° C. Its conductivity is about ten times that of the metal-filled epoxies and it will readily form a metallic bond to solderable surfaces during the cure cycle.
