Started VviD Network Technologies, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in design, implementation, analysis and management solutions for voice, video and data networks and data center design. Directed the growth of the firm from startup to over $300,000 in revenue the first full year of operation. Certified the company as a Cisco partner, Network Associates partner, and Panduit partner. Successfully implemented and delivered a full IT outsourced Managed Service Provider (MSP) solution to customers. Clients ranged from SMB to Fortune 500 companies, including: Reed Business, Inc., Bethlehem Steel, Ziff-Davis, Radiant systems, and New Jersey State Library system.

Responsible for and network architect of a global WAN consisting of 330 locations in 35 countries, over 350 Routers, 5 Data Centers, multiple ISPs and an annual budget over $25M. Responsible for the design, management and operation of the US Army’s largest classified TCP/IP network in Europe (SIPRNET) providing value-added network services and supporting the US. Army Europe Command and Control System. Designed and implemented the first multi-vendor integrated SNMP network management system and network configuration management system. Received several civil service awards for exceptional performance.

Engineered and configured TCP/IP, LAN and X.25 packet switching networks, digital voice, tactical and strategic networks for the US Army Europe, Operation Desert Shield/Storm, and the Southwest Asia Telecommunications System. Performed quality assurance testing and acceptance of state-of-the-art data communications systems.Created a graphical network management program to monitor circuits under the unit’s command and Co-authored the Tactical Network Analysis and Planning System program used to automate the management of the Brigade network.
