Promoted and moved into a full time position upon graduation.Responsibilities have continually expanded to include working directly under the business owner and the production manager as a reliable and resourceful team member. Regularly oversee installations for a variety of businesses with high-degree of client satisfaction; frequently involved in business and operations planning, problem-solving and target-setting. Serve as line-manager at events with up to 6 staff under my direction, delivering in time-pressed situations, ranging from small-scale corporate events to golf tournaments with up to 175k spectators. Involved with the sales of products and services to existing and new customers of the business, including handling customer calls as well as visiting customers to facilitate face to face meetings.

Assisted with plant maintenance, Christmas design and installation and as a member of the events team. Effectively prioritised to successfully balance work tasks and university commitments.Further leadership and management responsibilities were introduced during large event work such as the British Open. Took ownership to manage small groups, with responsibilities including: delegating work, quality control, communication, motivation and leadership.

Full time employment as a plantscape technician working as part of a small team of employees on a day to day bases. Trained to work independently to complete a large variety of jobs at a high standard. Particular attention to detail required as well as time management and communication. Added to a team of events workers involved in traveling and working away from home to ensure the smooth installation of plants at large events - for example the British Open.

Seasonal work carried out whilst in high school. Performed role of a General Technician.

Experienced all aspects of small business ownership through shadowing the owner. Gained invaluable knowledge of what it takes to run a successful small business, from day-to-day tasks to budgeting, sales, management and leadership. Assisted the business manager during sales meetings with vendors and clients. Gained insight and was trained in the planning and execution of large scale events, which required a great attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy to effectively communicate with other parties to the event.

Started my own landscape gardening business where I managed a portfolio of nine different clients. I was solely responsible for: prioritising variety of customer needs and schedules, issuing invoices, detailing expenses and calculating overheads.

Coached children aged 6-15 at both a team level and one-to-one. Progressed from working as part of a coaching team to working as a primary coach. Fostered personal development skills and team motivation.
