Leading a team of reliability engineers, my primary role was to develop and maintain Reliability Centred Maintenance strategies as part of the maintenance management group. This entailed fleet specific analysis and improvement projects, maintenance practice and process improvements, safety compliance and initiatives and client and internal audit actions and compliance. I am also responsible for maintenance strategy optimisation. The initial role was Perth based and entailed the development of component strategies, reporting tools and maintenance documentation to support the fleet. The role then changed to site based implementation of the strategies, assisting management and planning to improve planned maintenance performance. The role also involved rotable part management and inspections, GET trials and production optimisation. The role also involved assistance in developing safe work processes.
