After being hired during the golf course’s transition to a semi-private club, I worked closely with the General Manager to turn around sales growth, increase membership, and strengthen the reputation for one of North Alabama’s premier golf courses.• Implemented sales efforts that achieved profitability for the first time in consecutive months.• Generated membership growth by promoting the golf course at all Chamber of Commerce events in the area.• Increased revenue by adding 20 new golf tournaments and starting the Junior Program and PGA Junior League that brought in 20 new junior golfers.• Served as Lead Golf Instructor and secured new business with entire local high school and middle school golf teams.

I played on several tours during this time and finished Top 10 for 3 consecutive years on the Georgia-based Hopkins Tour and also played several Web.com tournaments.

I assisted in managing day-to-day golf course operations and overseeing 40 employees for one of the nation's 40 Super Value courses by Golf Digest's "Places to Play". • Contributed to the golf course being named #1 public golf facility in the US in 2008 by Golf Digest. • Assisted in planning and managing the largest couples golf tournament in S with nearly 400 participants.
