Work a lot with Google Adsense and A/B testing various layouts. Develop the front/back-end (AJAX & Python) of user submitted feedback and various types of engagement forms. Wrote a mechanism that queries our Google Analytics account for all of our properties, defined a few custom algorithms to determine most/least popular content, most socially shared, etc, and post this data weekly (automated in cron) to the database behind each of our sites so I can write front-end modules and UI things that merchandise and surface the content. Wrote an extension to the Demand Media CMS platform that takes an object of text/link pairs, and replaces content in standard DM studio articles with custom links on a per site basis. Made a "content feed" API (serves XML, JSON & JSONP) that will provide various types of content from any of our sites, and wrote a jQuery plugin that utilizes the JSONP API for our customers to use. Innovate and demo/proof of concept new formats for the company before the formats are formally supported on our platforms.
