I coordinate the sales efforts of a 10 person sales team, as well as act as Executive Assistant to our Market Manager. I input national sales orders and production and compile sales reports.

I am responsible for generating marketing copy for Walmart,com. This consists of creating compelling content as well as editing vendor-created content. All copy is held to rigorous standards, and must be compliant with client-provided style guides.

At Brewer Media Group, I was responsible for creating successful advertising plans for a number clients across three platforms. Brewer Media consists of four radio stations, a stable of websites and a weekly newspaper. By working with clients, I prepared successful marketing campaigns utilizing a variety of radio, online and print media.

I was initially hired as a seller for WUSY and WKXJ. In August of 2007, I began handling recruitment advertising and online advertising. Changing positions again in October of 2007, I was given the role of Online Sales Manager. During my time as Online Sales Manager, the Chattanooga sales team consistently earned greater than 100% of their online budget.

As General Manager, my responsibilities included all aspects of hotel management. I oversaw daily operations of this 300 room property, dealt with AP/AR, and worked closely with owners regarding budgets. I also handled all employee relations including hiring and training. I worked with the owner of a on-site leased bar and a separate on-site leased.

As Director of Sales at Country Hearth Inn, I was tasked with seeking potential long-term contracts. As the property was an extended stay hotel, I built relationships with a variety of local and national companies whose needs often included long-term lodging.

As AGM/FOM of Hampton Inn, my responsibilities included achieving guest satisfaction and personnel management. During my tenure as AGM/FOM, our property was without a GM. I worked with interim managers, on loan from other Hilton-managed properties, to maintain a consistent level of guest satisfaction.

As FOM, my duties ran the gamut from covering desk shifts to creating vacation packages and marketing plans. As FOM of a property in a resort locale, there is always a variety of hats to be worn. During off-season, I covered desk shifts to meet scheduling constraints. I worked closely with our corporate sales office, local chambers of commerce and local.
