Doing work that supports the people working for public good - I am a data specialist at the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluations (IHME) on the Local Burden of Disease team. We generate maps at the 5x5 km level for a number of indicators of interest for the global health community, such as under-5 mortality, HIV, educational attainment, and many more. http://www.healthdata.org/lbdAside from my team specific work on the under-5 mortality team, I'm also a part of the cross-cutting team, which provides various forms of support to the teams mapping specific indicators. My role has focused on the development of the code base and the creation of applications and other tools which streamline our data pipeline. Contact me at mcollison5@gmail.com
