Biomimicry LA is a diverse, regionally attuned network of changemakers and visionaries fostering innovation inspired by nature. Our purpose is to convene passionate and committed thought leaders, including professionals, academics, and other innovators around the promise of biomimicry and bioinspired innovation. Lead and managed diverse cross-functional teams, responsible for developing effective solutions and communicating with external stakeholders and management.Responsible for improving business and financial processes throughout a program office with annual budget of over $500 million.Provide expertise in Government funding processes and execution/reporting expectations.Support program finance activities to include project valuations, projections, budgeting process and execution.Supported multiple proposal teams to include: developing $75 million dollar proposal for new business opportunity, and evaluating $600 million dollar proposal re-planning an existing program.

Led a diverse 50-person cross-functional team, successfully managing the development and implementation of $200M of products to cost, schedule and performance goals.Took over and significantly improved team cohesiveness and productivity of an underperforming team by developing mutual respect, common goals and metrics, and aligning incentives for individuals and the program.Reduced a contract proposal by $13M through extensive review, technical evaluations, and negotiations.
