Programme Managing a portfolio of 30-40 projects. The projects consist a mix of commissioned products, from Customer request, through to strategic initiatives , where PALL a providing a product to an open Aerospace market.As well as Programme Managing the portfolio I am Project managing a critical strategic project to supply Total Air Purification Systems into the commercial Aircraft market.The role requires cross functional, world wide team management through all functions and disciplines of the organisation.

As a key member of the Senior Management Team of the local authority I am responsible for scoping, organising, and implementing large scale projects & programmes. I am accountable for ensuring compliance with agreed business plans, defined budgets, targets and timescales, and ultimately the planning and structuring of all projects and programmes. One of my key roles as a corporate Programme Manager is developing commercial agreements with contract owners and project directors. One key, corporate priority programme that I managed recently was the transition and integration of the Public Health Service, estimated at a £30m business, from the PCT to the Local Authority. I managed the transition of contracts, TUPE of staff and all assets and liabilities associated with the service as well as tendering the provider function to a competitive commercial market whilst integrating the Public Health functions into an already established Local Authority Structure.

I reported to the Operations and Programme Director for a portfolio of new electro-mechanical aerospace products, where the main duties included managing customer requirements and associated specifications, through to full implementation and qualification of the product for airworthiness. I personally managed new aerospace filtration products from customer requirements through to integration into a serial production environment, personally accountable for managing a portfolio of 20 New Products ranging from Fluid Electro-Mechanical to Cabin Air housings. I was the sole representative for the manufacturing, production, quality and supply chain functions of the organisation to assess sales enquiries in order to determine the customer requirements and co-ordinating all teams within the organisation including sales and design, in order to review the feasibility of the requirements. The role required me to manage all internal teams, external suppliers and the customers ensuring compliance to the customers’ requirements through t ultimate delivery of the product. I had complete ownership of budgets for the respective projects and I was personally responsible for monitoring and reporting each projects cashflow, IRR and payback, ensuring the projected spends profile was adhered to. The role involved regularly presenting to high profile customers of the new product including Airbus, Honeywell, Rolls Royce and the MoD.

Filton, Bristol

I functionally managed all engineering, manufacturing, logistical, procurement, design and PMO teams in order to maintain enablement of the A400M aircraft production to meet customer delivery requirements. In role I developed a process for monitoring, managing and reporting progress status for all pre-mentioned teams which required building and maintaining good relationships with all, whilst keeping abreast with developments, issues and risks of each discipline. I was also responsible for understanding and managing the interdependencies of the team’s requirements such as preliminary bills of material and drawing set etc. As an extension to the role I was also involved in managing and negotiating the configuration of each wingset delivered on to the final assembly line, whilst ensuring any applicable modifications/changes were planned and implemented prior to delivery to the customer. I reported directly to the Head of Engineering, Programme Management and Head of Operations.

Filton, Bristol

I managed electrical and mechanical engineering teams to conceptualise design and manage deployment and integration of several test systems and bespoke tooling to facilitate the manufacturing of the A400M military aircraft. I was responsible for ensuring the teams collaboratively delivered test and manufacturing solutions whilst managing the implications of the concurrent engineering environment that we operated in. The role required full understanding of all processes and engineering tools to effectively manage the deployment of all projects, and to dictate the restrictions and flexibility of the teams systems. I functionally reported to the Head of Systems Engineering and the Programme Manager.
