I am a Mechatronics Engineer that has experimented the supply-chain life.Here’s a little bit of my work story:I started working as a sales rep while I was a college student. This job taught me about how to start a conversation with strangers, listen to the customer needs and, especially, it helped me build my resilience by being rejected MULTIPLE TIMES.After graduating, I worked as a barista for a local coffee shop. I was quickly promoted to shift supervisor and was in charge of the store and baristas.I moved to Tijuana, MX in 2015. My first job as a planner was at RSI, where I was assigned to help a department that was in critical trouble; the Mouldings department was reporting multiple shortages that affected other lines, because it provided the raw material for other departments. Since Mouldings was full with very experienced people, I teamed up with the leaders and supervisors of the production lines to get a deeper understanding of the process flow and to reach a compromise where production could be green on their metrics with a plan that would ensure the next operations would have enough materials to reach their goals. When I left, setups had been reduced by 50% and material shortages had dropped by 60% along with a reduction of cost due to OTMy first Job in the US was at Jif-Pak as a contractor Senior Production Planner/Scheduler, being bilingual helped me a lot to interact with production and to team up with them in order to meet customer's requirements.I got a job at UTC Aerospace as a contractor SAP Business Analyst providing solutions to every day issues on SAP and also creating Materials Masters for all plants across the world.Currently working as a Data Analyst creating reports in Excel and suggesting min/max values, forecast etc. based on material history.
