Served as a Team Leader on a three month detail for the Community Development Financial Institutions Fund (CDFI Fund), U.S. Department of the Treasury. During this time I managed a team of reviewers who were tasked with evaluating CDFI applications for funding to serve low-income and underserved people and communities and spark economic growth

• Interpreted administrative policies, directives and standards established by Congress, Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and DHS S&T• Conducted sound social and behavioral policy analysis for the Resilient Systems Division program portfolio to improve overall business processes, allowing the executive leadership to solve difficult programmatic issues and drive strategic decision making • Applied analytical/business strategies and processes across a logical grouping of programs to ensure strategic alignment with agency objectives • Researched, analyzed and developed recommendations on security and strategic issues and trends within the DHS Enterprise to include the Federal Protective Service (FPS), the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), and Customs and Border Protection (CBP)

• Served as site manager for the Personal Identity Protections Solutions Division of the Defense Manpower Data Center, a DOD client that focused on global military contractor biometrics control measures and identity management• Utilized analytical tools such as customer satisfaction surveys/interviews, call monitoring software, and Microsoft Excel to assess the effectiveness of the service the IT helpdesk specialists provided to their customers• Analyzed maintenance reports from hardware and software contractors, and used the data to increase operational effectiveness at Common Access Card issuance sites • Provided troubleshooting assistance and made recommendations for improved customer service where appropriate • Initiated and approved the replacement of hardware components• Approved site relocations and hardware installer actions
