Profile bio

About Peter Mcphee

I have spent the last 17 years as a clean energy professional working at the intersection of technologies, markets, and policy. In my current role as a Senior Program Director at the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC), I am surfacing and proving out the building decarbonization solutions necessary to eliminate emissions from our buildings sector and developing market and policy pathways for broad scaling of these solutions in the coming decades. In my previous role as the Director of Clean Heating & Cooling, I spearheaded a $60 million suite of programs to develop emerging clean energy industries in the heating and cooling sector. Through this leadership role, I crafted the strategy, developed the team, and managed the implementation of our heating electrification programs. Previously, I worked for six years as a wind energy engineer and project manager where I served as a lead technical expert in wind resource assessment, project design, financial modelling, siting, and project impact modelling, including acoustics. In my role with MassCEC, I managed project development support initiatives for over 50 community and utility-scale wind projects from early site assessment through construction and operation.

Listed skills include Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency, Wind, Sustainable Energy, and 18 others.
