Howdy I'm Alex,As a little kid I loved taking apart my family's broken appliances and electronics and was constantly curious about how hundreds of little parts worked together to make something so useful. From there I eventually learned how to put things back together and would beg my parents to let me fix things around the house instead of buying new ones. Once I could make reliable repairs I started tinkering with bigger systems like lawnmowers and cars and have successfully rebuilt a plethora of lawn accessories and old cars. All this to say that I love taking small simple objects and figuring out how to put them together to make something bigger and greater. Over the past few years at Texas A&M I have learned how to do that mechanically, by being a member of TAMU's FSAE EV team and the CTO & Chassis Team Lead of TAMU's Formula-1 Styled EV Capstone project, and metaphorically by being the Head Coach of Texas A&M Women's Water Polo Team. Outside of school, major projects, and coaching, I enjoy working out, playing instruments, questioning everything, and taking a step back to enjoy life's moments and appreciate all the experiences I've been gifted with over the years. I am now completing my final year at Texas A&M as a Mechatronics Engineering major and am looking for a career that embraces innovation, maintains its moral integrity, and inspires me to contribute to a purpose bigger than myself.
