Teaching and researching city design. • Teach Urban/City Design studio to graduate students.• Create a design based research studio program in Urban Design.• This studio an interdisciplinary studio open to Graduate Students of Planning, Architecture, Urban Design, and Landscape Design.• The studio allows student to work in groups of 3-4 students each from different disciplines to combine ideas of resilience, development, equity, and city design.• Mentored 8 teams for the Urban Land Institute (ULI) design competition. This competition is open to graduate level students of Business, Architecture, Landscape, Planning, and Urban Design. One of my 8 teams moved on to finals.

Project Manager• Coordinated between the water shed department, the city arborist, Austin Energy, the transportation department, and all design consultants to coordinate the location, design, budget and implementation of trees in the project.• Managed and collaborated with the consultant who created the design book for the implementation of future trees along Austin Corridors.• Organized and held meetings with inter-departmental managers.• Coordinated between Austin Energy, the transportation department, the cycling specialist and all design consultants to coordinate the location, design, budget and implementation of street lighting for cars, cyclists, and pedestrians.• Coordinated wayfinding and signage along the Austin Corridors.

• City of San Antonio SA Tomorrow Comprehensive Plan.-Managed a team of 8 project managers dealing with the urban design initiatives for the SA Tomorrow Comprehensive Plan. -Project Manager for the West Side Community Plan. -Coordinated with quasi-governmental agencies on budget for project plan.-Held 6 community meetings to introduce SA Tomorrow Plans to each area of affected areas of San Antonio.
