Lead Gis Expert
CurrentParticipating in the EU funded Aquatic Plastic (AQPLA) Danube Interreg project as the Lead GIS Expert for the remote sensing based macroplastic detection activity.
It Consultant
CurrentParticipating in the design and development of various IT systems for the Hungarian Energy and Public Utility Regulatory Authority (MEKH), including the public visitor interface and several administrative functionalities.
Lead Software Architect
LeanNet is a startup company focused on software defined and cloud native networking. My task was to design the architecture of the company's flagship product, a novel software defined networking modul for Google Kubernetes; and to supervise the implementation and the collaboration of a small group of developers. The implementation was mainly done in Go.
Guest Researcher
Participating in the H2020 5G Exchange (5GEx) project of the 5G-PPP program. The goal of the 5GEx project is to enable cross-domain orchestration of services over multiple administrations or over multi-domain single administrations. This will allow end-to-end network and service elements to mix in multi-vendor, heterogeneous technology and resource environments. The main topics of my work were: - design and implement use-case scenarios for the 5GEx environment, involving robotics and augmented reality. The prototype implementations were done in C++ and C#.- business modelling of the network formation among 5G providers through theoretical static analysis and dynamical simulations (carried out in Python).
Guest Researcher
My research aimed to analyse the change detection of massive airborne laser altimetry point clouds relying on digital elevation models and proposing a methodology to extract features related to modifications in the built-up areas. As a demonstration I showcased the distributed evaluation of the Dutch altimetry archive – a dataset exceeding several terabytes of storage space – in multiple high-performance and cloud computing environments and examined favourable visualizations and aggregated representations of the data. The implementation was carried out in standard C++.The reference data of the AHN project (Actueel Hoogtebestand Nederland) is an altimetry dataset produced by airborne laser scanning measurements for the entire Netherlands. Since the launch of the project two data acquisitions were performed between 1996-2000 and 2007-2011, while the third one is ongoing and planned to be accomplished between 2014-2019.
Research Associate
I was a researcher and a software developer at FÖMI, working on the IQmulus (FP7-ICT-2011-318787) project. The main objective of IQmulus is to enable (optimized) use of large, heterogeneous geo-spatial data sets for better decision making through a high-volume fusion and analysis information management platform. For further information, the website address is: http://iqmulus.eu/My tasks and researches are related to the field of topological analysis and operations of geo-spatial data, as well as developing and implementing topological data-structures. The implementation was carried out mainly in C#/.NET Framework.
Research Associate
I contributed in a code comprehension project at Ericsson in cooperation with Eötvös Loránd University Faculty of Informatics and ELTE-Soft. The aim of the project was to conduce to the understanding of complex, large scale software, by providing various visualization and query possibilities. The main topic of my primary research was to support the comprehension of code evolution through visualizations based on data mined from source control utilities. Other tasks I took part in the project covered the following fields and topics: - researching and developing an incremental parsing tool for software source code; - researching and implementing component visualization methods for large software systems; - developing the user interface of the product (formerly desktop-based, late web-based); - analysing (especially C++) compilers and examining their complementarity with custom requirements.
Guest Lecturer
Courses and lectures on:- Algorithms and data structures- C++ programming - .NET Framework/C# programming (included technologies are WPF, Modern UI, ASP.NET MVC, WCF, EF).
