My name is Mallory and I have a passion design that comes in many forms! I consider myself a Swiss Army knife of design. My degree is in Integrated Multimedia where I studied not only the technical skills to produce impactual designs, but also the conceptual aspects of design, such as color theory, the psychology of layout, and user experience. Since graduating, my career in design has been a mix of web design, brand development, video production, print marketing campaigns, and more. I owe my successes to my concise communication skills, ability to prioritize (and re-prioritize), willingness to collaborate, tendency to approach challenges as puzzles, and my fondness for organization. In any position I hold, I do my best to combine my past experiences with my desire to learn, to become the type of designer who is eager and leans into challenges.My passion and enthusiasm for design is omnipresent. I notice design in every app I open and every website I browse. In movies, television shows, magazines, billboards, book covers, it’s everywhere, and I’m always paying attention. The composition, lighting, color, layout, image or typeface can change the whole message. Design, when done correctly, sets the stage for the viewer to absorb the information behind that which caught their eye. But when improperly done, the viewer is lost. Preventing this from happening is my passion, and I’ve turned my love for good design into a career I look forward to every day.
