Hi there! I am a simple, yet adventurous individual. I have worked independently as a freelance artist and collaborated in teams in my work. I find both to be enjoying. I would like to join a creative team. Freelance Marketing & Graphic Designer
Facebook - https://m.facebook.com/MEshopDesigns/Instagram - me_shop.designs In 2017, I graduated from freelance side projects to a full time business. My first and main customer is with the owner of the Weeping Willow Tearoom in Bethalto, IL. Most of the projects are seasonal like the table toppers to promote menu specials and event rooms for parties. Several months ago, I redesigned their menus for a more modern/chic look. I have designed t-shirts. I have also, created gift certificates, feedback cards, and flyers along with social media ads for their Facebook and Instagram posts. I recently took pictures and updated their website for a more vintage, yet modern look which will be updated seasonally as well. When working with the owner, I converse with her via email or come in for a scheduled meeting to discuss what she needs and what we can do to help promote the tearoom. I have, also, recently worked with the Granite Nursing and Rehab Center to create yard signs for a job fair and created decals for cups as holiday gifts. I am currently working on some wedding invitations for two customers. I hope to be expanding my small business further through Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest. I am also working on putting my ideas to Etsy, which will include illustrated prints, wedding packages, and t-shirts.

Sales & Graphic Designer
I took care of several existing accounts that I worked closely with such as Greenville College, Anderson Hospital (Dietary Department), Amsted Rail, and Father McGivney Catholic High School along with new customers like Arise Ministry, Wells Painting and Powerwashing, and Dental Professionals of Glen Carbon. The majority of the job was customer service, design, and promoting the company. I also helped Wood River Printing start carrying promotional items as part of their line of offerings. With my knowledge using the Adobe Creative Suites, I was able to communicate with clients on what they needed. I created several invitations, flyers, and brochures of all kinds. Customer walk-ins needing help on getting prints, copies, or design work were my responsibility. I managed the copy center. I learned to set up files for proofs and make necessary changes to be set up for print on the presses with Prinergy. I worked closely with some of the SIUE employees in regards to proofs, editing, and print. I was the go-to for recreating images/logos when given poor quality images. When our Office Manager was out, I took over the position. Those tasks included quoting, creating job tickets and filing them, deposits, and answering phones and emails.
Bartender
Graphic Designer
My job was to design store front posters, in-store display information, flyers, newspaper ads, and social media post to promote their sales like BOGO or 50% off, etc. I worked directly with our printer, Abbey Inc. I would pick up the prints when they were ready, then separated these prints for each store locations needs and put the prints into the stores’ mail carriers for delivery. I wrote short blogs with images that were posted to their Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest. I proofread their existing website at the time, made sure all the buttons/clicks and dropdown menus worked. I created new banners and images and replaced the old ones in their website. I made sure all the SKU numbers were correct and went to the right pair of glasses/sunglasses. I provided new doctors and other employees with business cards. I took part in team meetings to go over sales and promotional ideas along with separate agenda meetings. The largest project I worked on was for EDDM personal mailing. This was for patients they had not seen in awhile and pass their recommended check ups. The project consisted of several different versions. This mailer was to be set up for each patient’s name and an age range. There were five different age ranges and each age range had five other versions based on time frame (”It has been X amount of time since you have last seen us.”). There were four different logos that needed to be used, totaling to 100 different versions.
Graphic Designer
I helped customers that came in needing prints or copies. For new stores starting out, I designed their business cards, brochures, mouse pads, windows signs, and anything else needed. I designed EDDM mailers, business cards, and invitations. A major company I worked directly with was Olin Brass, creating their holiday invitations and warning cards and stickers. The PowerPoint presentation was updated and regularly changed for seasonal purposes. I worked closely with recreating and changing the menus for the adjacent cafe, I also dealt with customers over the phone and in person regarding design options and pricing or store inquiries, and running the store including opening and closing duties. The main thing I had to learn was packaging and shipping.
Lol Server
I started as a cocktail server, serving drinks with occasional food orders and doing daily cleaning tasks. I eventually became a bartender and helped out by picking up shifts.
Server
I started with answering phones, taking reservations, seating customers, wiping down tables, setting up for large parties, and running food. Then I became a server and prepared for lunch and dinner service, served tables (drink/food orders), cleared plates and finished with closing duties.
Graphic Design Internship
My job as an intern was to write short articles on several subtrates along with creating a cover page for each article. At the time of my internship, their up and coming substrate was wood. For this, I created several box shapes and diecuts to feature the multiple use for their trade shows. I reported to the Director of Marketing.
Server
This is a retirement home in which I helped prepare for service. I greeted each guest and seated them with menus, took beverage/food orders and helped take out orders to tables. I made sure each guest was satisfied. I bussed and reset tables. At the end of my shift, I worked on doing the closing duties and also helped others if needed and reported to the supervisor.
Cashier / Concessions
Customer service. Answered phones/questions. Greeted customers at the door. Cashier: I handed out tickets and stickers for admission, handled money and used the cash register, gave out information about birthday parties, game times, and skate times. At the end of my shift, I did my ending duties. I reported to my supervisor and helped co-workers. Concessions: I took orders and made food. I rang up items on the register and handled money. I restocked items and switched out syrups for the soda machine. At the end of shift, I swept and mopped, and washed dishes. I wiped off countertops and restocked. I reported to my supervisor and helped co-workers.
