As a Media Systems Engineer, I design and implement innovative solutions for media-oriented challenges across various studio departments. My work encompasses hands-on problem-solving, such as managing mechanical systems, low voltage wiring, and structural work, as well as overseeing digital infrastructure and interconnected systems. My expertise ensures seamless media experiences, enabling clients to visualize and hear their projects effectively.

I have been an active volunteer at Branches since January, 2012.I am an ordained pastor in addition to my key responsibilities at the church. These include 4 primary areas of focus:1. Service Programming Director - Manage 6 volunteer department heads in charge of making the Sunday service happen. Coordinate with other departments as needed. Create systems and lines of communication throughout the church to increase the transparency and responsiveness of the organization as a whole. Team building, leadership development, documentation creation, and volunteer recruitment are some of the responsibilities of this position.2. I am the in-house IT and Help Desk person. Primarily I assist in managing the G-Suite subscription, printing resources, the local network infrastructure, and A/V installation and troubleshooting. Budgeting, scheduling, and technology improvement timelines are included responsibilities.3. Communications and Media - This generally falls under the Service Programming umbrella. I ensure that online communications, printed and digital media, and general messaging are created, edited, and/or sent out to appropriate channels. Planning and content development. I also train public speakers in preaching methods. Development of skills in public speaking, presentation building, and pastoral care of the team members are the primary responsibilities of this role.4. Preacher - I am one of the primary communicators for Branches, serving during Adult services on Sundays and during Youth services on Wednesdays. I share this responsibility with several preachers. The responsibilities of this position include independently developing content, critiquing and evaluating other communicators, assisting in training, and filling in on an as needs basis in various departments that need a communicator (sickness, meetings, etc.).

A variety of hats and roles at this position. My official title, Project manager, sees me interfacing with clients, vendors/suppliers, and contractors to help project timelines and resolution of issues that may come up. In addition, I help maintain, create, or troubleshoot the business processes to help make them more successful and to reduce wasted time for common administrative tasks. My IT experience, as well as basic carpentry has come into play here as well.For new projects, I assist in creating the necessary models and CAD documents for the designers to plan from.

Manage and troubleshoot internal networking, computer infrastructure, and other network resources. Troubleshoot mobile invoicing system and mobile devices issues for field technicians. Implement new policies and practices to streamline workflow for payroll and job creation/production. Created and maintained ecommerce site for daughter company, Weatherstrippingly Company. Manage the company office, answer phones, order supplies, schedule work, and sometimes help in the field.

Schedule production tasks, manage product information [prints, photos, invoicing, quotes, etc.], maintain information system and backups, implement design changes to information workflow for smoother operations. Deliver completed products and components to customers, pickup materials and make purchasing inquiries and decisions.

Sell and service accident, life, dental, cancer, hospital indemnity, and health policies for a broad range of individuals and groups. Provide assistance with filing of claims and resolution of outstanding customer service issues for existing accounts.

Assist customers in the purchase of high dollar items and continue to provide them with pleasant and cheerful service. Assist in the training of new employees and when new systems are brought online. Perform order tracking and processing, with communication to the corporate office and vendors. Answer and direct incoming calls on a multiline phone system. Administrative duties include filing, and monitoring office supply levels and inventory. Solve computer related issues with the point of sale, printing, and server systems in stores [recognized by home office for technical ability]. Implement documentation systems and protocols to more efficiently handle customer service issues.

Phone support covering all aspects of user accounts, including: billing, account creation/cancellation, queue management, and technical support.

Desktop support of company computers and hardware. Product management on both websites. Network troubleshooting, and interoffice communication through shared document structures.

Tutor high school aged students in the comfort of their own home. Basic subjects include chemistry, mathematics (all levels), English, and mentorship for college applications.The goal is to raise a students understanding of the subject matter and build good study habits so that grades will improve organically.
