Responsible for all aspects of accounting, finance, human resources, risk management, facilities and security at this family of three schools with a combined enrollment of 450 students, annual budget of $10 million, two campus locations, and approximately 180 employees. This historic institution was founded by Hawaii's beloved Queen Emma in 1867 at roughly the same time as she founded the Queen's Hospital System and Hawaii's Episcopal Diocese.

Managed restructuring and liquidation of $50 million distressed IT integration firm with major Federal contracting relationships including the Department of Defense and Department of Energy. Projects included real estate leasing/sales, other business asset liquidations, negotiations with the IRS, and the resolution of over $10 million in trade credit and legal claims. Personally led the effort to identify and market the business to potential acquirers, negotiate terms, and close the transaction.

Ho'okele developed the iHealthHome system, an advanced communication and wellness monitoring tool which enables families to help their elder loved ones age in the home of their choice. Led product development for the online marketplace within the iHealthHome system that allows senior clients and caregivers to order products and services for home delivery. Developed legal agreements, recruited initial vendors, conducted testing for launch, and documented all business processes. Also introduced the company to potential clients, alliance partners, and investors.

SDC HAWAII LLC was a Hawaii-based, start-up software development company. We developed the software that drove an early social network application on http://chi.mp and an efficient, automated publishing network monetized through search-advertising.Responsible for all aspects of operations, finance, human resources, compliance and more. Collaborated with co-founders on capital formation, investor relations, product strategy, technology, marketing and corporate governance.

Corporate Facilities Manager - Responsible for all of Bank of Hawaii’s corporate real estate operations including $44 million in annual expense, $6 million in revenue, and $8 to $12 million in capital projects.Commercial Banking Sales Manager - Provided strategic analysis, reporting and training programs (Cohen-Brown) enabling commercial banking officers to grow their various business lines.Efficiency Improvement Manager - Developed and implemented an efficiency improvement program as part of the overall corporate turn-around. Conducted benchmark assessment of all operations. Developed and implemented multiple LOB improvement plans resulting in $4 million annual improvements using a variety of techniques including business process re-design, outsourcing, staffing models and automation enhancements.eCommerce Development Manager - Developed and implemented the company's first comprehensive eCommerce strategy. Directly responsible for www.boh.com, internet marketing, internet banking, bill payment services and the corporate intranet. Served as company-wide representative responsible for all delivery channel systems (teller, platform, ATM, call center and internet banking) when the bank converted to outsourced core processing. Also led the Business Process Improvement initiative to ensure that internal processes were aligned with the new systems in order to maximize efficiency.Year 2000 Program Manager - Coordinated all Year 2000 compliance activities. Maintained project focus, evaluated performance, managed regulatory relationships, and expedited the project across all subsidiaries. At its peak the project involved approximately 200 staff and a budget of $45 million.Information Technology Manager - Led a team that developed technology plans for various business segments and subsidiaries. Defined, documented, and prioritized system requirements; conducted cost-benefit analyses; performed post-implementation audits and managed data processing budgets.

Provided consulting services in the areas of profit improvement, operations management, credit risk management and data processing alternatives.Clients included Wells Fargo, Zions First National Bank, Continental Bank, Manufacturers Hanover, and numerous other commercial banks, private banks, retail banks, thrifts, credit unions and mortgage companies.

Performed examinations of member savings institutions; analyzed institution asset/liability records; reviewed real estate loans and investments; prepared written recommendations and reports to senior management and Boards of Directors.
