Ranks Petroleum Limited is the macro-distributor of Shell Lubricants in Bangladesh since 2004. My responsibilities include-- Ordering product from different plants of Shell based on competitive pricing and demand planning-Processing LCs at Bank- Processing Marine cover notes- Documentation of LC - Declaring appropiate H.S Code for imported products- Coordinating with Freight Forwarder to confirm House Bill of Lading- Preparing shipping guarantee documents for clearing goods from the port - Processing marine policies- Notifying C&Fs for shipment arrivals- Preparing customs duty payment documents and ensuring customs duty payment- Providing delivery plans for the shipments - Ensuring delivery of goods to the warehouses- Generating GRN using ERP- Creating provision for shipment costs in the ERP against each GRN- Making products available in the system stock / ERP for the Sales team.

My responsibility as a research associate is to ensure proper qualitative research for my clients which will help them to introduce new products or services in the market.
