My duty entails client conferencing, the meticulous preparation of various legal documents and applications, spanning immigration matters, personal statements, cover letters, witness statements, judicial review applications, and divorce applications.

In the beginning, at this law firm, I was given the task of drafting legal documents including petitions, affidavits etc. for litigations before the High Court Division. During those early months, my role also involved appearing before the High Court Division for ancillary legal appearances, such as time extension, taking permission for swearing affidavits etc. Also, I had to appear before the lower courts on different occasions to represent our firm’s clients in different commercial litigations. Eventually, after the aforesaid rigorous learning phase for commercial litigations in the High Court Divisions, I started to appear before the High Court Divisions for motion or rule hearings in commercial matters.

I started my pupillage required for High Court enrolment at the CONSILIARY headed by Barrister AKM Farhan. At this firm, my primary role includes, amongst others, drafting petitions and affidavits for motions and hearings for litigations before the High Court Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh.

Junior Associate at Shafiqul Islam & Associates. My responsibilities were to assist my senior Barrister Shafiqul Islam in legal research, writing legal opinions, taking notes from clients and drafting various agreements, deeds etc.
