▪ As a Network Administrator my role is to Assist in the design, installation, maintenance and monitoring the Network. In addition, configuration & Troubleshooting of Cisco Routers, Switches, Cisco ASA, is day to day work.▪ Using monitoring tool like SolarWinds to easily identify the real time bandwidth and utilization. Manage WAN, LAN, Intranet & Internet connectivity of Head office & branches.Daily Maintenance & Health check of the Network & Security devices that include products like CISCO, Fortinet.▪ collaborate with the group Security team on best practice, control, auditing and incident response. Keep Network & security appliance updated with software releases & virus definitions.▪ Installation & configuration of Cisco - Routers, Switches, and Wireless Access Point, Cisco Call Manager & IP Phones.▪ Incident Reporting & investigation.▪ Maximize business continuity & reduce time by monitoring WAN, LAN, Internet connectivity & Network devices.▪ Providing periodic reporting on Network & information security issues.▪ Install, manage & configure CISCO wireless switch & wireless Access Point.▪ Documentation & disaster recovery planning & implementation.▪ Creating Backups and Imaging is another routine task to maintain business continuity.Apart from network, managing Active directory, Exchange & ISA on Microsoft windows Server is a day-to-day activity.▪ Microsoft Windows servers Software & Hardware installation & configuration. Work with End users to diagnosed and troubleshoot incidents and services requests.▪ Microsoft Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Remote desktop support tools and IT service management▪ Bring in new solutions as per requirement to compete with latest technologies.▪ Available for an on-call 24x7 rotation and after hours work as required.

Job Responsibility: -▪ Network monitoring to proactively manage the Internetworks and to ensure the high availability of network for the users, to access all the infrastructure paths and key servers all the time.▪ In case of network failover, troubleshooting the network related issues. And follow up with open tickets in BMC Remedy.▪ Configuring Line VTY on Cisco Router.▪ Configuring, troubleshooting OSPF, RIP, EIGRP and BGP with redistribution.▪ Configuring BGP route maps for policy based routing.▪ Installing and upgrading Cisco IOS to meet the company requirements.▪ Implementation and Configuration of (3660) model routers for Ip vpn, Leased Lines.▪ Configuring Basic and troubleshooting Routers (7200 series 3800, 2900) in case of installing the additional circuits, for interconnecting of remote sites.▪ Configuring and trouble shouting 6509 as distribution layer and 3750, 3500, 4500 and 2950 series as access layer switches. .▪ Configuring wireless Cisco Access Points▪ Securing the network by locking down the network through Cisco IOS software features.▪ Configured, Data and Voice VLANs, ISL and 802.1Q hybrid trunks to support Voice & Data, Trunking , Channeling and Uplinks. ▪ Configuring route redistribution.▪ Basic Knowledge and Configuring of Cisco IOS Firewall features Context-based access control (CBAC).▪ Ability to work with team members to implement solutions to meet customer requirements.
