AIT Extension contributes to the development of the region through continuing professional education, short-course training and consultancy services. We do this by working to develop highly qualified and committed professionals who play a leading role in the sustainable development of the region and its integration into the global economy.

• Provide consultancy services to assist in enhancing the quality of planning, implementation and monitoring of projects/programs related to environment in both public and private sector;• Conduct field survey for baseline data collection related to Biophysical and Ecological resources• Analysis of collected data and report writing for Sundarbans (mangrove) Forest Health Monitoring;• Lead the study team being a project leader of Initial Environmental Examination (IEE), Environmental and Social Impact (ESIA) study of Coal based Thermal Power Plant Project;• Present the study outcomes for the clients.

• Assist ARE Program in developing details training curricula, book preparation, training report preparation and conduct associated research work;• Assist ARE Program Head in preparing training proposals and conduct associated research work;• Assist ARE Program coordinators to coordinate with host organizations, drafting visit plan and finalizing logistics for the visits; • Assisting program participants with their requirements during class room sessions and field visits when assigned by Program Coordinator.
