SMS MAINTENANCE

1. Placement of Heat on the ladle car and taking in to the treatment position.2. Reporting free board and ladle condition of the heat to shift incharge as per need.3. Checking all the conditions , which are required for arcing, and start the arcing.4.Taking sample and temperature when required.• Sending lollypop sample through pneumatic sample dispatur to lab.5. Communicating with laboratory regarding grade of steel to make , and asking result of sample.6. Responsible for alloy addition and wire feeding according to steel grade.7. After achieving desired chemistry, temperature {suitable for ccs} and timing of heat sequence taking out ladle car to parking position.8. Signaling to crane operator to lift the ladle for ccs.9. Slipping for changing the electrode after consumption of graphite electrode due to arcing.10. Adding a piece of electrode to the changed electrode for reuse at the electrode making platform.11. Operating top lance {additional argon purging arrangement} in situation of no purging ladle.12. Ladle roof jam cleaning ad ladle car track cleaning.13. Changing top lance according to its condition.Material charging to the bunker situated above the controller room.
