• Ensure first level fault handling and troubleshooting of BTS, transmission network and core network within defined service level.• Responding to trouble tickets and network alarms and rectifying the faults accordingly.• Ensure a safe and continuous power supply in the base stations and switch locations by doing proper maintenance of rectifier, generator, battery, isolation transformer and automatic voltage regulator.• Monitoring the network by network management systems.• Manage and coordinate different vendors, including Huawei Technologies, Ericsson and third-party providers to secure best services from them.• Participate actively in all types of new node integration and new interconnection.• Ensure quality preventive maintenance of fibre, BTS, core and transmission hub sites as per defined timeline to ensure network quality.• Software and hardware upgrade of radio, transmission and power equipment.• Carry out necessary routing plan for any expansion or modification of an optical fibre network.• Fault calculation, localization and restoration with necessary fieldwork during fibre optic backbone break incidents.• Ensure execution of all types of optimization work/planned work given by the departments of radio planning, core network planning and transmission planning) to support network growth.• Liaison and coordinate with different stakeholders like electricity, law enforcing agencies to get their support for actual billing, network security etc.• Attend and visit problematic spots/customers' premises based on their complaints to collect detailed technical parameters of the location and finally initiate necessary optimization for effective solutions to these problems.• Support other mobile phone operators who are sharing Grameenphone premises as part of infrastructure sharing.• Prepare and present different reports based on the requirement.
