Currently, I am working as a Doctoral Research Fellow with "The Centre of Research Excellence in Translating Nutritional Science to Good Health" at Adelaide Medical School of The Adelaide University. I am passionate and feel comfortable in research and teaching. My primary research focus is on Hypoglycaemia and Delayed Gastric Emptying and its correlation with dietary nutrients and bioactive compounds. I am experienced in research activities on nutritional assessment and the bioavailability of nutrients throughout the gastrointestinal tract. My research focus is to understand the relation of dietary nutrients with glycemic control in relation to hormonal regulation among healthy and diabetic white and aboriginal populations. My research work will help to better understand the mechanism that lies behind the interrelation between hypoglycemia, gastric emptying, postprandial blood pressure, and dietary nutrients. These findings could be helpful in developing novel strategies for better regulation of glycemic variability among diabetic and healthy individuals.
