• Primary responsibility for defining the hydrological factors to be considered in the detailed design of the roads and associated bridges/culverts structures and market infrastructures for the finally selected subprojects;• Collect and analyse relevant hydrological data and in consultation with the road design and structures engineers, assess the requirement for additional cross-drainage capacity on project roads in order to maintain natural drainage under present and forecasted climate change conditions;• Establish technical design criteria as for the hydrological aspects for construction of roads, bridges, culverts and ghats, especially in respect of embankment orientation or possible obstruction of natural flow of runoff, site-specific designs, protection measures, cross drainage capacity;• Assessment of preferred locations for culverts, this may be at existing locations or elsewhere;• Prepare analysis of hydrological and meteorological data and verify findings with other stakeholders as BWDB; identify climate change effects in relation to the analysis and results from scientific studies by international and national specialized agencies;• Assess the impact of climate change for project areas and assist in designing climate resilient infrastructure.• Advise design engineers to fix up the x-section of bridge/culvert/water control structure.• Coordinate with the various Government Department and Agencies for deploying the activities related to landscape level reforestation and alternative vegetative value chain development.• Provide intellectual leadership for the development of the knowledge management system to monitor results of action research and field tests• Coordinate with relevant universities for hydrometeorology curriculum development for improving Bangladesh’s capacity to deal with future weather related phenomena.

I am working on the Chakaria, Moheskhali Pourosova Master Plan Preparation Project. My Assignment is Preparation Plan for Drainage, Flood Control and water supply issue in Master Plan Project.

 Supervise and monitor the CCRIP activities and report the latest progress to Project Director and other GOB Officials Assist different officials for completing training activities  Coordinate and assist Design supervision Consultant, Management Support Consultant and INGOs and other consultants of the Project.  Assist the study team in collecting data and financial information regarding Result & Impact Management System (RIMS) during the project Period.  Collect RIMS data in an annual basis using anchor indicators and supply the same to the PMO.  Develop a transparent progress report and reporting system with adequate quantitative and qualitative indicators keeping consistency with project log frame to allow the project period.  will be responsible for all steps of monitoring tasks such as Activity Monitoring, Process Monitoring, Outcome Monitoring and Impact Monitoring ;  Support Project Management to prepare guidelines/ comprehensive manual and all formats of data collection to orient and induce the staff and project partners on Project Management and approaches related to evaluation and monitoring activities. Support the project management to organize knowledge and experience sharing workshops  will be responsible for maintaining and updating project website to be developed by the project Assist the Project Management in preparing Annual Work Plan and Budget in accordance with the intended output and outcomes.  Ensure timely preparation and submission of the progress report in the prescribed format to Ministry, ERD, GOB and co-financiers when required Coordinate with different line agencies, local government bodies and stakeholders in planning and implementation with relation to the M&E system of the project.

One of the “Road Design and Pavement Standard of LGED” preparation Under process by BUET for all over Bangladesh. In manual there are one chapter is Road Drainage and Side Slope Protection. In LGED there are lots of Road Drainage Structure such as Bridges/culverts etc. Main Problem in this situation is select opening and height of Bridges/culverts. Main Responsibility of this task is prepare a Guideline for Road Drainage Structure Box culvert, Bridge which Length less than 100.00m. This is the additional work engaged by authority.

 Primary responsibility of CCRIP for defining the hydro-logical factors to be considered in the detailed design of the roads and associated bridges/culverts structures for the finally selected sub projects; Processing Survey information which needed Designer; Determine the expected discharge for average and wet years and the consequences for flood control identifying command areas and using the customary catchment area-discharge formulas and local experience; Verify that planned bridges, culverts, ghats do not narrow and alter the cross-sections of rivers and khals; Review of all relevant project documents including the topographical survey report, sub soil investigation report, detailed design and report, specifications etc.  Assist for timely implementation of the project with effective guides, supervision and quality control.  Prepare and Verifying Estimate and BOQ of Roads, Bridges, Ghats and other Structures;  Collect and analyze relevant hydrological data and in consultation with the road and structure design engineers,  Assess the requirement for additional cross-drainage capacity on project roads in order to maintain natural drainage under present and forecast climate change conditions; Establish technical design criteria as for the hydrological aspects for construction of roads, bridges, culverts and ghats, especially in respect of embankment orientation or possible obstruction of natural flow of runoff, site- specific designs, protection measures, cross drainage capacity; Prepare analysis of hydrological and meteorological data and verify findings with other stakeholders as BWDB; identify climate change effects in relation to the analysis and results from scientific studies by international and national specialized agencies; Determine if culverts need to be provided with a water control gate given climate resilient demands e.g. resulting from increased rainfall;

 Processing Grid Bathymetry Data Survey which measured by Total Station and Eco-sounder.  Preparation hydrodynamic Modeling, Delft 3D & HECRas. Determine Hydro logical factor which factor need for Bridge Design, using by Delft 3D, HECRas.  Frequency data analysis for determination return period and maximum water level.  Determination of scour depth, maximum scour which needed for Bridge design.  After perpetration of this type of work I will assist team leader for preparation of final report of Hydrology and Morphology.
