It is an experience of handling import-export activities independently . It includes-01. Products ranging from Crop Protection, Machinery, Seeds to Fertilizer.02. Ability to handle over 15,000 MT imported product excluding export.03. Maintaining liaison with different Govt. and non Govt. stakeholders including- Ministry of Agriculture, DAE, Explosive Department, NBR, Navy, Customs, Port Authority, Depot Authority, Shipping agent, Carrier, Bank, Insurance and Clearing service provider.04. Complexity to release and deliver DG and non DG goods from Port to plant and then different Warehouses located different parts of the country.05. Responsiveness to deliver product to meet seasonal demand.06. Challenges to maintain HSE in loading, Unloading and transportation.07. Hardship to be within the budget for Duty & non-duty expenses while maintaining responsiveness.08. Proactivity to solve problem thinking/doing out of the boundary when it comes to IGM error, B/L amendment, Depot transferring issue etc.09. Multitasking & working under pressure.

Getting approval of Block list from DGDA and acquiring final clearance & NOC for sample shipment, Monitoring stock position and planning for procurement,Follow up L/C by negotiation with Suppliers,Indentors,Bank etc.Clearing goods from Port by maintaining liaison with C&F,transport agent and Bank.Receiving GRN and maintaining L/C file & register.Checking Bills of C&F,Insurance,Transport,Local Materials and forwarding to Accounts Dept. for payment.Preparing comparative statement after collecting quotation and Issuing work order for local materials.
