JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AT ALEPH AS FINANCE MANAGER APAC:FINANCIAL REPORTING (MIS):• Prepare monthly reporting packages of multiple markets in APAC (BGD, NPL, PHL, VNM) for the global team to support timely decision-making.• Reconcile key accounts (AP, AR, VAT, Tax) for accurate financial reporting.• Streamline and automate reporting processes using SAP S/4HANA• Assist with annual audit requirements.COMPLIANCE REPORTING:• Review and ensure timely submission of compliance reports (TDS, VAT, AIT, CIT, FDI, RJSC).• Liaise with the controlling group and stakeholders to ensure statutory compliance and avoid penalties.FINANCIAL CONTROLLING:• Prepare monthly variance reports comparing budget to actual performance.• Advise on cost control measures based on variance analysis.FINANCIAL PLANNING AND FORECASTING:• Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with department heads, setting financial targets and resource allocation.• Update forecasts regularly to reflect changes in financial data and business conditions.TREASURY MANAGEMENT:• Oversee daily cash positions, ensuring liquidity for operations and obligations.• Maintain cash flow forecasts to anticipate future needs and manage shortfalls or surpluses.• Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.PAYROLL MANAGEMENT:• Ensure accurate and timely salary disbursements and bonus payments.• Manage statutory deductions and ensure compliance with tax and legal regulations.ADMIN MANAGEMENT:• Oversee daily administrative operations, including supplies and equipment.• Negotiate and manage contracts with external service providers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AT ASA INTERNATIONAL AS MANAGER (FINANCE & ACCOUNTS):• Preparation/review of monthly financial reports of lending company (financial institution) with branch network outside of Bangladesh. • Strong and consistent monitoring of key control elements of accounting, finance and reporting issues.• Guidance to entities on different policies/standards of accounting and reporting including accrual method, FX conversion, recognition of financial assets/liabilities, IFRS etc.• Coordination to external and internal audit function of entities with internationally reputed audit firm, Ernst &Young and KPMG.• Preparation/review of annual budget based on functional budget approach applicable for branch based financial institution.• Covenant reporting, lender reporting, negotiations• Analysis of financial reports in view of budgetary targets and key performance indicators applicable for micro finance industries.• Guidance to the entities on corporate tax computation, PAYE, withholding and service tax to the entities, research on other country tax laws and application.• Setup and or monitoring of internal control policies and procedures in respect to financial reporting.• Assist IT team in standardizing chart of accounts, reconciliations for in house built accounting software• Preparation of consolidated accounts and process elimination entries• Assist in preparation of financial statements, presentations, research applications, ideas, training sessions, events etc.• Dissemination of information, guidance and enforcement of rules within and outside of department• Special projects assigned by CFO and or DOA

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AT VIVO MOBILE AS A SENIOR EXECUTIVE (FINANCE & ACCOUNTS):• Calculation and submission of Quarterly Advance Income Tax to respective Tax circles.• Preparing monthly statements of tax deducted from salaries and submitting the same to the Tax Authority as per Rule 21(1) of the Income-tax Rules, 1984.• Preparing monthly statements of tax deducted or collected and submitting the same to the Tax Authority as per Rule 18(7) of the Income-tax Rules,1984.• Preparing and filing Monthly VAT returns (Mushak - 9.1) Under rule 47 (1) of the Value Added Tax and Supplementary Duty Rules, 2016 along with relevant forms, documents and treasury Challans to the VAT authority.• Preparation of financial statements according to the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) & International Accounting Standards (IAS).
