job & Responsibility - Understanding of drawing and project specification- knowledge in preparation of QAP,ITP and job procedure with the applicable codes and standard.- preparing WPS and PQR as per ASME sec. IX.- Also responsible for selection of WPS.- welder qualification and verification of WPS as per ASME sec.IX.- Monitoring of proper usage of welding consumables.- Implement the QA/QC management system at site.- coordinates all quality related correspondence with contractor/vendor/customers representative.·             Inspection of raw material (Pipes, plates, Pipe Fitting) & Review of Material Test Certificate (MTC)·             Inspection of Above ground piping, Underground piping & Structure fabrication. ·             Ensuring all inspections and tests are carried out as indicated on the appropriate Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) for Piping and Fitting Materials like IBR, LAS, CS, SS, NACE & LTCS from material inspection to Final dispatch.·             Field welding of CS, SS and AS pipes i.e., joint fit-up, inter pass weld visual, Final weld visual inspection of welds.·             Conversant with NDT techniques like Visual inspection (VT), Dye Penetrate test (DP), Radiography test (RT), and Positive Material Identification (PMI)·             Verifying incoming materials for material identification and spool identification.·             Welding application with various processes i.e., SMAW, GTAW, SAW, FCAW.·             Surveillance of storage and baking of Welding Consumables.·             Witnessing Hydro test and Pneumatic test of plant piping system.·             Inspection of Piping-system wise and verification according to Isometric Drawing·             Inspection of Structure Welding and Piping Supports.·             Witnessing & Surveillance of Grid blasting and painting of piping and structure.·             Final clearance and documents review of Test pack of piping system as per Line Designation Table·             Conducting Toolbox to Contractors employees and supervisors for job awareness.·             Document updating in SPOOLGEN though SAP system, Report Preparation, Status Reporting, Coordination with Contractor, and subcontractor for Corrective and Preventive Actions.·             Witness of DPT,PAUT and RT Film interpretation.·             Preparing Final Dossier for each project & submission to Client.-
