As a key member of the procurement team, I was responsible for creating purchase orders and overseeing the procurement process.One of the significant aspects of my internship was gaining in-depth knowledge of the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle. Before joining the company, I had limited familiarity with P2P processes, but through hands-on experience and dedicated learning, I acquired a comprehensive understanding of the procurement department's functions.In the role of Procurement Engineer, I played a crucial part in creating and managing purchase orders, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of necessary materials. This hands-on experience allowed me to develop a keen eye for detail and enhanced my organizational skills.Working closely with the procurement team, I had the opportunity to collaborate on various projects, gaining valuable insights into effective procurement strategies. I also adapted quickly to the dynamic nature of the industry, addressing challenges and contributing to the seamless flow of the procurement process.Through this internship, I not only expanded my knowledge of procurement practices but also developed practical skills in navigating the day-to-day operations of a busy procurement department.
