It was an amazing experience to work with CIPRB in the project of Disability Friendly Health Services (DHFS) funded by UNICEF and collaborated with the Directorate General Health Services (DGHS), Government of Bangladesh. Though the short period in the midst of COVID pandemic, worked within the health system to develop and strengthen focusing disability friendly health services in different health care setting. Stakeholders meeting, IEC and manual development and training facilitation were the key responsibilities.

The project was named Implementation of CNCP training. Comprehensive Newborn Care Package training for the health care providers mainly the community level carers were under the training program which was basically a nationwide implementation program focusing to increase hospital delivery by active participation of care seeker, reduce maternal and neonatal birth complications followed by reduce mortality rate, expand family planing through newly married and parents with children.Four days long training program covering all the community level health care providers Health Inspector, Assistant Health Inspector, Health Assistant, Family Welfare Visitor, Family Welfare Assistant, Community Health Care Provider were the key respondents of the training program.Throughout the seven months of working, I covered three districts with six sub-districts areas. Being trained as training of trainers (TOT), facilitated along with coordinated the whole training program and trained over 1200 health care providers.

One year internship program following the 5 years MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) completed from the country's second government medical college. Rotatory internship program established by Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC) was followed. The main branches were the internal medicine, surgery and obstetrics-gynecology including community. Each branch was for three months. Rest three months was placed in allied and minor branches i.e: Pediatric Medicine, Neuro-medicine, Cardiology, Haematology, Gastroenterology, Ortho-casualty, Anesthesia, Ophthalmology, ENT, Pediatric surgery, Urology, Labour emergency, Family planning, Community placement (UHC). Among all these pediatric medicine with NICU was for one month and ortho-casualty as well as community placement were for fourteen days and other all took five to six days each.
