As a Mentor for the School of Computing Buddy System, I gained exposure to leadership, communication, and mentorship. I provided guidance and support to a group of students as they transitioned into their first year of university, developing strong communication and interpersonal skills. As a Mentor, I also gained valuable leadership experience by organizing events, coordinating with other Mentors, and fostering a sense of community and belonging. Overall, this experience allowed me to develop key skills that will serve me well in future roles, and make a positive impact on the lives of the students I worked with.

As Treasurer for the Bangladeshi Students Association, I gained exposure to financial management and event planning. I managed the organization's budget, coordinated with vendors, and booked venues for various events. Through this role, I developed a strong understanding of financial responsibility and accountability in a nonprofit organization, as well as communication and collaboration skills while working with the Executive Committee. This experience will serve me well in future roles.

As Exco Multimedia for "What's Your Next Move?", a live streaming program on Facebook aimed at teaching people how to play chess, I gained exposure to various aspects of multimedia production and project management. Through my work on the program, I gained valuable experience in project management, coordination, and execution, and developed strong communication and collaboration skills. Overall, it was a rewarding experience that taught me the importance of delivering high-quality multimedia content within tight deadlines, and the satisfaction of helping others learn a new skill.
