Core Functions:• Ensuring credibility of the finance operation by providing true and fair preparation of financial statements, analysis, trends, hindsight, insight and foresight on time• Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting, Treasury, Company Secretary and HR team• Reconcile intercompany transactions• Provide strategic partnering with the MD & CEO/senior management and to the Board of Directors• Manage & maintain money market and capital market investment • Planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial activities of the business including business planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and negotiations.• HR planning, Hiring candidates, job analysis and Training & Development• Supervise & check bills & vouchers & software posting• Execute & monitor all activities about brokerage house (SFIL Securities Ltd.)• Developing and executing of financial policies, procedures and play a leading role in directing change initiatives and process improvements• Stakeholders’ management with good rapport with Bangladesh Bank, NBR, Tax Lawyer and govt. & private stakeholders• Prepare and submit reports such as FICL, BASEL, Stress, Business Activity Report, Sectorial Report etc.• Submit updated form XII, IX & 23B to RJSC• Maintain relationship with several banks and NBFIs for treasury fund • Prepare pitch deck for foreign fund raising and complete review audit by audit firm • Representing board of directors in presentation of financial updates at quarterly board meeting and/or sub-committee meetings.Selected Achievements:• Developed Chart of Accounts (COA) for software• Established overall accounting system as per BB Circular & IFRSs• Treasury fund management above BDT 330 Crore with several banks• Organize Board Meeting, Executive Committee Meeting and Audit Committee Meeting on timely• Successfully implemented Provident Fund & Gratuity Fund for employees
