As a Lead Technician at SIA Engineering Company, I am responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of the aircraft maintenance services for Singapore Airlines, SilkAir, Scoot, and various 3rd party airlines. I have worked on most of their fleet of aircraft, from the Airbus A330, A350, and A380 to Boeing 737, 777, and 787, performing tasks ranging from changing galley filters to complex engine and landing gear changes.I started my career as a trainee technician in 2014, after graduating with a diploma in Civil Aviation from Republic Polytechnic. I became a qualified technician a year later, and in 2021, I was promoted to the Lead Technician role. In 2023, I acted as a Senior Technician for three months, leading a team of technicians in the absence of a Senior Technician. I have also obtained multiple certifications, including the Airside Driving Permit issued by Changi Airport Group. My core competencies include aircraft systems, troubleshooting, teamwork, and communication. I am motivated by the challenge and satisfaction of maintaining SIA's fleet with safety and excellence.
