Md. Samdani has more than 10 + years of a unique blend of experiences in the corporate sector and international organizations including several research organizations. He holds both a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and a Master of Business Administration in Marketing Studies and International Marketing from the University of Chittagong, Chittagong, Bangladesh. As a big dreamer, he always believed in a passion that is the fuel of achieving anything and touching the limit of any milestone before creativity and adaptive skill set, especially in the field of research.He has hands-on experience in different positions and departments in MNCs, INGO and Local conglomerates especially in the arena of project management, vendor management, and business development and research. During his journey in the research domain, he completed a couple of studies focused on agriculture value-chain projects, trafficking, migration and gender, tourism, skill development, ICT, women empowerment, capacity development, and others. He played a role as a consultant in one of the successful USAID, M4P projects called ‘CBO Sustainability through Deeper Market Integration (CStDMI-RFLDC)’ for IDE Bangladesh. The focus area of the project was CBO/A’s assessment, capacity development, stakeholder mapping and analysis (qualitative), PS linkage for sustainable small business enterprises with a view to rural livelihood development, and promoting women empowerment. On top of that, he contributed for cross-border trafficking study landscape analysis between Bangladesh and India for transforming theory of change of project portfolio of leading donor agencies. ILO’s ProGRESS project “Value Chain Analysis for Productive Employment Opportunities of Women and Vulnerable Groups in Bangladesh”, comprehensive value chain analysis of four selected sectors, which include: Agriculture, Tourism, Care Work and ICT.He contributed as one of the researchers in one of the multi-countries (12) projects called ‘“Baseline Study of ActionAid Denmark’s Danida Strategic Partnership Programme II” (USAID) for SPAII Global Baseline formatting with The Theory of Change of AADK's SPAII Program ambitious results within social protests and movements, fighting for civic space, climate justice, and fundamental rights and protection. During his tanner for projects, he has gained and learned valuable insights concerning partial contribution up to proposal writing, conducting interviews (qualitative), questionnaire development, field coordination, and report writing and many more.
