BSMRAAU Airborne Phoenix is competing in the 2024-25 Design Build and Fly Competition,organized by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics in partnership with Textron Aviation and Raytheon. This global event invites student teams to solve real-world aviation challenges, culminating in a competitive fly-off at the Tucson International Modelplex Park Association (TIMPA) in Tucson, AZ.Our team consists of passionate undergraduate and graduate students, an experienced pilot, and supportive faculty advisors. Led by faculty mentors, our project manager coordinates multiple specialized teams to ensure rigorous progress and high-quality results at each phase of development. Guided by our chief engineer, sub-teams focus on key aspects of aircraft design and production, working together to bring BSMRAAU’s aerospace vision to life.

As the Assistant Team Leader and CAD Designer of "Airborne Phoenix," I played a pivotal role in securing the "Best New Undergraduate Entrant" award at the Vertical Flight Society's 41st Annual Student Design Competition (2023-2024). This year's competition, titled “Multi-Mission Modular UAS for Disaster Relief,” challenged teams to design a versatile, modular VTOL UAS capable of vertical take-offs and landings from a ship deck under extreme wind conditions. Our design needed to function both as a long-endurance communications relay and a disaster relief supply vehicle. Collaborating with my team, we delivered a comprehensive solution that met the complex requirements of the RFP and showcased our skills in aerospace innovation and teamwork.

As the leader of the Mechanical Design Team of Mars Rover 71, BSMRAAU, I have had the opportunity to combine my passion for engineering with practical experience. My responsibilities include: - Leading the CAD modeling and design of the rover. - Conducting structural analysis to ensure durability and reliability. - Supervising the prototyping and testing of mechanical components. - Collaborating with other teams to ensure seamless integration of designs. - Guiding team members and addressing technical challenges.

Organized and contributed as an executive member in two impactful events under the BSMRAAU AI & Robotics Club (BAIRC):1. Stress Management in Higher Education Institutions (April 19, 2024) – A session addressing stress-related challenges for students and faculty, organized in collaboration with the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC).2. Winter Donation Campaign 2024 (January 7, 2024) – A community initiative held in Lalmonirhat, Rangpur, aimed at supporting underprivileged communities during the winter season.Both events reflect my commitment to fostering positive change in education and community development.
