Hill International, UAE February 2012 - PresentMechanical Site Inspection EngineerProject:• ABU DHABI INTERNATIONAL MIDFILD TERMINAL Airport Project, Abu Dhabi Hill, in association with AECOM Technology Corp, is providing construction management and supervision services for the new Midfield Terminal Complex (MTC) at Abu Dhabi International Airport. Abu Dhabi International Airport is the primary gateway to the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The state-of-the-art terminal facility will cover 700,000 SM (Central Processor and four Piers) and include a vast array of duty-free offerings, restaurants, lounges and much more, to cater for a capacity of 20-40 million passengers per year. The construction value of the project is $3 billion.Responsibilities:• Reports to the Project Lead/ Senior Discipline Engineer on site. Oversees reviews & manages and monitors implementation of the construction documents on site. • Responsible to manage teams of discipline Inspectors on site. • Supports the Project Lead/ Senior Discipline Engineer/ Manager technically and liaises with the design office, contractor and client counterparts to ensure that the construction is carried out in accordance with plans and specifications. • Maintains and prepares a variety of records, including daily/weekly progress reports, or as directed by Team Lead • Ensuring that responses to contractors’ submittals are complete and in compliance with the contract documents. Where problems are found, work with Team Lead to resolve. • Audit inspections for conformity to contract documents and contractor submitted plans. • Assist the Senior Discipline engineer to identify, respond to or evaluate technical issues to maintain the schedule. • Attends progress review meetings and co-ordination meetings to assist the Project Lead/Senior EngineerProject:• ADNOC Housing Project, Ruwais

Project- Central Market Abu Dhabi, Capital plaza and Cliviland Clinic Projects in Abu Dhabi. : Checking and preparing the shop drawings of all Mechanical systems from Draftsman. And make the coordination with other services.: Take the consultant approval replying there all comments.: Preparation of method statement and take approval from consultant.: Checking the shop drawings of all Mechanical systems.: Coordination with all MEP services to do the quality work.: Carrying out ducting work with strict adherence of specification and international standards like ASHRAE & SMACNA in erection and fabrication of ducting.: Supervision of installation of piping work with standard accessories, erection of pumping station and chiller yard, pipe hanging and support as per specification, implementation of recommended insulation & vapor coating method.: Do the Testing & Commissioning of major Mechanical equipments.: Balancing and treatment of chilled water system.: Quality Control & Quality Assurance for sit work and Materials.: Preparation of Project Status Report on Daily, Weekly & Monthly basis. : Coordination with consultants, Clients and Government Departments.

I was appointed as a HVAC Design Engineer. The scope of my responsibilities covered Design, installation, commissioning and balancing of Central Air-Conditioning system.
