• Baseline assessment and need analysis for establishment of eco tour sites in the Sundarban region;• Identification of potential eco tour sites in project areas;• Development of business plan for financially and socially sustainable eco tour sites in the Sundarbans;• Identification of eco tour entrepreneurs, cultural actors and community members/relevant stakeholders who will participate in activities such as establishment of eco tour sites, linkage between private tour operators and eco tour sites, training, study /exposure visits etc. ;• Need assessment of training for eco tour operators, government officials, cultural actors, eco tour guides;• Planning for income generating activities for the community members /households based around the proposed Eco tour sites;• Development of training module for Eco tour operators, guides and relevant stakeholders;• Assist in implementation of the above mentioned program in Bangladesh and ensure timely achievement of the project outputs• Coordinate implementation all project activities at the district level• Coordinate follow up activities with the stakeholders and beneficiaries• Prepare work plan, track delivery of project outputs;• Monitor project activities implemented by partner organizations;• Liasie with finance team and other RI BD personnel for timely delivery of project outputs;• Attend meetings convened by the partnersand other stakeholdersof the project• Coordinate with operations teams to implement the project activities;• Assist in organization of all training, workshop, events under the project• Assist in procurement of project materials• Assist in preparation of reports for the funding agency• Prepare budgets related to project activities• Ensure quality implementation of the project activities and suggest operational improvements of the project when possible• Assist in public relations efforts• Travel to the project locations• Observe RI and RI Bangladesh country policy

1. Identify, meet and work with Cox’s Bazar tourism entrepreneurs, and educate them to eco-tourism opportunities in Teknaf Peninsula through presentations and site visits to Teknuf, Shilkhali & Himchari;2. Develop at least 5 business plans and/or tourist opportunity itineraries that link tourists to eco-tourism opportunities in Teknaf Peninsula PAs;3. Provide targeted training opportunities to strengthen linkages between IPAC eco-guides with tour operators, hotel and restaurants and simultaneously develop potential eco-guides as per work plans; 4. Maximize the use of Eco-shop of Chunuti, Teknaf, Shilkhali and coordinate with the CMCs;5. Facilitate improvements to existing tourist attractions like Beach trail, Elephant trail etc of Tenknaf.6. Support entrepreneurs to create links and coordinate with the tourism private sector including: hotels, resorts, tour operators, travel agents, related projects etc.7. Establish marketing opportunities for locally-produced crafts to the Cox’s Bazar and Teknaf Peninsula tourism markets;8. Develop a trail to the Bay of Bengal – the most attractive of the trail possibilities9. Develop at least 3 linkages to promote eco-tourism at Fashiakhali, Medhakochopia, Inani, Himchari and linked with Cox’s Bazaar tourism;
