Oversaw an epidemiological study on dengue viruses in Dhaka, employing quantitative PCR (qPCR) and next-generation sequencing (NGS) to examine and characterize viral strains. Managed influenza surveillance projects using reverse transcription PCR (RT-PCR) and viral culture techniques to track prevalence and strain variations. Assessed influenza vaccine candidates by applying cell culture methods and conducting Hemagglutination Inhibition (HAI) and Microneutralization (MN) assays. Led efforts in the detection and genetic characterization of SARS-CoV-2 through RT-PCR, whole genome sequencing (WGS), and bioinformatics, significantly contributing to national genomic surveillance. Engaged in the genomic surveillance of respiratory pathogens, including influenza, SARS-CoV-2, and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), using multiplex RT-PCR, NGS, and phylogenetic analysis to deepen understanding and guide public health strategies.
