Like other investigation junkies, brainstorming, conducting research, diving into investigations, analyzing data, spotting patterns, and solving complex problems boosts my adrenaline. However, I wasn't always like this. During my school and university days, I was just an average student, unsure of the right career path for me. The world of conventional education often felt uninspiring, except for a few bright spots related to technology, science, astronomy, and geography.Although I never disappointed my parents with my studies, the question of finding a career that would truly excite me loomed over both me and my parents. However, things gradually changed as I stumbled upon the shining possibilities in the field of security and investigations. Fortunately, I was able to secure a position early in my career as an Investigation Specialist with Amazon, one of the dream companies I'd always admired.Starting as a contractual employee, I was determined to prove my skills and commitment. With my dedication and performance, I managed to turn that initial contract into a permanent position. The rise of cyber fraud, data breaches, crime, and terrorism in the current world has always frustrated me. So, being able to be a part of a team that combats these issues at Amazon gave me a sense of purpose.While my role at Amazon allowed me to utilize my investigation skills to help Amazon's customers only which is satisfying on its own, yet, I felt a calling to contribute more to the world. I dream of a world with as little terrorism, financial fraud, and money laundering as possible. To achieve this goal, I've embarked on a journey of self-improvement and career development, driven by my unquenchable passion.I've already invested my time and energy in courses and certifications related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT). But this is just the beginning. I'm eager to expand my knowledge and skills even further. I'm currently on the lookout for an opportunity in the Anti-Money Laundering and Combating Financing of Terrorism field to accelerate my career toward my ultimate goal.I'm driven by the desire to make a difference, to contribute to a world that is safer, more secure, and free from the shadow of terrorism and financial crimes.
