Also NSW Animal Welfare Campaigns Manager.* Responsible for implementing and managing the organisation's Communications strategy with two direct reports: Media Relations Officer and Online Communications Officer.* Helped implement communications strategies to increase fundraising and support for major fundraising events, bequests, veterinary hospitals, volunteer branches, workplace giving, retail and corporate partnerships.* Manager of the Editor of three publications - Members' magazine, children's magazine and Annual Report (stepped in to complete publications when Editor left position).* Manager of the organisation's Animal Welfare campaigns within NSW: promoting campaigns to the community and ensuring staff and volunteers were informed of the organisation's policies, inclusive of Internal Free Range Food Policy with authored Managers.National Campaigns promoted primarily through social media, publications, events, conferences, talks and presentations, and input meetings with National Office.* Assisted Program Mgrs to promote:- the organisation's Domestic Violence Pets and People Support Program offering safe accommodation to pets and their owners who are at risk.- Pets of Older Persons: a visitation service and support program for the elderly.- The Living Rough Program to support homeless pets and their people.- Desexing & Vaccination discount drives.- Reduction in Adoption Fees for pets to increase chances of finding forever homes.- Adoption during holidays to promote responsible pet ownership (new families have the time to invest love and care).- Ran a Political Animal campaign in NSW targeting 4 main animal welfare issues asking voters to lobby MPs to affect change. Shooting of Exotic Birds in National Parks, Puppy Factories, Ban on Exotic Animals in Circuses (won in Ku-ring-gai Council Area); Securing much-needed funding for RSPCA Sydney Shelter rebuild.
