• Responsible for cost and quantity estimation for each item of works in case of approved variation proposal, verification of Interim Payment Certificate (IPC) • Prepare subcontract packages, bidding documents, evaluations/comparisons report• Responsible for managing contract issues regarding variation order (VO), claims in a FIDIC administered project• Review Contractor’s submissions along with quotations and supporting documents in order to prepare VO response. • Determination of various contractual issues related to each contract package. Administer the large complex contracts with regard to several claims of contractors. • Prepare statement of variation, cost evaluation and time effect evaluation for each VO. • Review and manage project’s budgetary requirements, fund allocations, cash flows in an efficient manner • Review of Contractor’s Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs) in cases when some contractual clarifications required. • Execution of contractual works within the contract provision and report through Project Management Information System (PMIS).

Responsible for all 7 sub-projects of Regional Cooperation and Integration (RCI) Project-• Prepare and review subcontracting documents, engage subcontractor after successful bidding and checking relevant payments document submitted by the subcontractors• Preparation, checking and management of track alignment drawings for vertical and horizontal profile, track geometry & track structures and Land Acquisition Plan (LAP) drawings• Preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and schedules of payments for each package/lots of the contract after executing quantity and cost analysis• Review and preparation of feasibility reports, detailed design reports, and major deliverables for the project• Record and maintain work verification records (WVRs), design reports and calculations for each item of works• Coordination, modification and integration of outcomes from each discipline experts with the view to prepare reports• Amendment of tender documents, preparation of Request for Clarifications (RFC) response for bidder• Preparation and review of Monthly Progress report, Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report, and social safeguards measures• Assistance and review of technical specifications of earthworks, building works, facility works, and track works• Checking tender drawings and implementing BR’s schedule of dimension in design• Collection of updated data, information as various changes in alignment and design, modification the main reports, and drawings accordingly

• Reviewing contract drawings, specifications, quantities, method statements of various construction works, and accomplishing communication with project stakeholders.• Verification of quantity of works done and relevant cost, and preparation of Interim Payment Certificate (IPC), review and checking contractor’s submission for payment • Undertaking quality inspection at site for construction of railway embankment with significant foundation treatment works such as sand pile, wick drain, bridging layer & drainage layer• Monitoring of ballast tamping, ballast laying, sleeper placement and installation of rail joints, fishplates, fishbolts, nuts, and checking with utmost safety concern• Checking of alignment & curve setting, and safety issues during works on or near existing train operated track• Prepare maintenance schedule of existing operated track and take blocks from other stakeholders (operations related), manage site issues involving materials collection, equipment use, resource allocation• Monitoring & installation of turn-out & crossover, monitoring ultrasonic test of flash-butt & alumino-thermic welding of rail• Ensure Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) management system on site in every aspects of constructions process• Review method statements of works and advise accordingly to the team with safety concern• Conducting various testing of materials in laboratory and field, checking request for inspection (RFI’s), implementing EMP• Review and audit contractor QC programs, and developing program for coping with construction schedule.• Conducting various tests for meeting the QA requirements and process flows of rail, sleeper, and turnout in China, India, and Bangladesh• Preparation of monthly progress report, design reports, and project completion reports for the projects • Drafting letters to project stake holders, attending meetings and noting down minutes of meetings

Responsible for supervision and design of civil works; tender documentation, bid evaluation & post tendering works, site supervision and reporting, drawing management, design and design assistance of track works, level corssings, Bridge, Buildings, civil and facility works, drainage and water supply, Bill of Quantity (BOQ) preparation, geotechnical investigation etc. for 3 sub-projects of Dhaka-Chittagong Development Project (DCRDP) which are:-(i) Track Doubling between Laksam & Chinki-Astana,(61 km) (Earthworks, Track, Bridge & Culverts, Station & Buildings, Signalling and Telecommunication, Foot Bridges, Level crossing etc)(ii) Remodelling of Chittagong Station Yard, (Earthworks, Track, Station & Buildings, Overhead Water Tank, Renovation of Station Yard and facility works etc) (iii) Improvement of Pahartali workshop (Civil and Building works, track works and Supply and installation of Plants)

Responsible for construction supervision, quality assurance and quality control, progress reporting, BOQ preparation, field quantity measurement, test review for construction of Ullahpara to Lahiri-Mohonpur Roadway, (30 km) Sirajgonj, a sub-project of Emergency Disaster Damage Rehabilitation Project (EDDRP).I undertook supervision of Road embankment construction, road pavement construction and maintenance with improved sub-grade (ISG), Sub-Base, Base course, Bituminous Carpeting with prime coating, Seal coating with tack coating,casting C.C Block and pitching in slope bed, quality control, relevant tests, progress reporting, testing materials.
